The Consumer Math 40S provincial exam is written in 3 parts. The Project will be done in 3 consecutive classes in school November 29 to December 6th. The Portfolio will be done in class also. The written exam is on Tuesday January 25th am. The provincial exam is worth 30% of a students overall mark.
We have been having real problems with attendance in this class. Many students are late for class on a regular basis. They miss out on correcting the previous days work, and on the new lesson. The school bell goes at 8:45 and students are to be in their first class of the day 2 minutes later, before O Canada!
The week of January 17th to 21st will be spent preparing for the provincial exam and working on their portfolio. The students have been given old exams to be working on, both at home and at school.
Portfolio is due Friday January 21st.
Students should be starting to prepare for their provincial exam. The provincial exam will be written on Tuesday January 25th starting at 9 am.
